This poem is from my book "He Leadeth Me".

 Lead Me

Lead me, Oh Lord, lead me
I don't want to trust myself
Because my feeble eyes cannot see
All the pitfalls, tricks and schemes the devil has on his shelf.

Lead me, Oh Lord, lead me
Above every mountain, around every curve,
Through every valley and then in a plain path
Teach me how to seek You and show me how to serve.

Lead me, Oh Lord, lead me
As I walk this narrow way
Show me how to live holy each and every day
Help me to obey Your Word - to watch, fight and pray.

Lead me, Oh Lord, lead me
I want to be a vessel meat for the Master's use
Count me worth, count me right
Count me pleasing in thy sight.

Lead, Oh Lord, lead me.
