Can I Get A Witness?

I wanna make a difference to.

Somebody I can witness to.

Someone I can sit down and holla at.

A lot of kids don’t get talked to.

They get hollered at.

There’s a whole world

Some of us are not exposed to.

Our minds are closed to.

So we think we’re supposed to

Walk around thinkin’.

Like the world owes you.

If the mom and dad act a fool.

How you think the kid is gonna act in school.

Cuz’ they lack the tools.

And it’s scary.

They curse cuz’ they have a limited vocabulary.

Can I Get A Witness? What is this.

Brothas’ wit no shame

Tryin’ to run game

But ain’t even working.

Got kids at home hurting.

Mama doin’ the best she can.

To raise those kids.

Without the man.

Who made those kids.

Just to make ends meet

She gotta work 2 jobs.

And you wonder why she believes in God!

Can I get A Witness? Or can I get a favor.

Sometimes I struggle hard with

Loving thy neighbor.

There are 2 types of people under this pattern.

Those who make things happen.

And those who run around yappin’

And pointing, I love you and your anointing.

But you need to grab a broom.

And sweep the floor man.

Can I Get A Witness?

For the people that own their own business.

And mind their own business.

For the family that supports each other.

From the father to the mother

The sister to the brother.

Leaning on one another.

A family that prays together.

Plays together.

Enjoys their days together.

Obeys together.

Let God make a way together

Will be okay together.

And saved forever.

Because they’ll stay together.

For the kids that look forward to.

What their gonna be

Not what they wanna be.

If I would’ve looked.

The opportunity was right in front of me.

It’s a new season of my life.

But before I begin this.

I can’t do it without God.

Can I Get A Witness…
