God told me He would hold me No matter what gets next to me His goodness protects me I'm afraid of what he's doin to me I'm messed up and he's still using me I haven't always been a good dad Matter of fact I was real bad He may not ever give me a wife But I have life Only because of him I'm so deeply in love with him Look at me do you see my face My heart tells me I'm a waste Who's gonna be there in the end Not my family or my friends But my God will be He's the only one that loves the real me He's the keeper of everything I got When I asked him Why Me? he repied Why Not? What are you running for You know what I'm coming for The very heart I gave you Would not allow me to forsake you So when your faith starts to fade Think about me and all the days You should be gone But I never gave up I kept holding on Now I need you to pursue whats heard Lift me up and be a doer of my word Pray for your friends and your enemies Let them know you remember me And they too can be forgiven From all of the sinnin that is in them That doesnt mean you wont have some stuff Days, nights times that's rough Take it to another level Everybody believes in God ..
