As Long As you Love Me During a trial in health I was inspired to write this poem. Let the news come bad, I can handle it as long as you love me. Let the storms rage out of control. I know you patrol the borders of my soul. I can watch the mountains crumble just to be given a chance to be humble. Let it come I can handle it all as long as you love me. When disease covers my flesh I fear not for you, at your best with a word can heal me making whole once more. I can handle it as long as you love me. Lord I can shout from the hilltops you always have loved me. Look the devil right in the eye knowing your on my side. Swim the oceans wide, climb the highest mountain top. Stride in the lowest valley, as long as I know you love me. Joselyn G. MayFair 01/29/2007 If you are, facing giants and battles lean on Jesus! He has conquered them all and loves you he will put you over!. |
