Throne of Hope


" This poem was inspired in a time of brokenness which led me back
to the Lord.  You can say is part of my testimony...God Bless..."

I lay here all alone
Drowning in my sorrows
The pain I feel within
No hope for tomorrow.

Darkness seeping in
Deep inside my soul
In anguish I cry out
My life, I want no more.

Lord, I lift my hands to you
And call upon your name
Are you truly there?
Or my cries go in vain.

Then an angel came to me
With a message from My Father
“Be strong for I am here
I’m your healer, your provider”.

All hope restored in me
For His glory has such power
Jesus, you’re My Savior
My Refuge, My Tower.

My friends be encouraged
For you are not alone
Put your hope in the Lord
And come before His throne.
