Psalm Of Love


I thank God for His presence
Just be still before the Lord,
And commit to Him your ways,
Be patient in His presence,
And He will better your days.

Because the Lord is my shepherd,
And I am His sheep,
He changes my gray skies to blue,
And my rivers aren't so deep.

And because my Lord is everything,
I shall not always want,
Eventhough we're only human,
and like to strut our stuff and flaunt,
I know that Jesus holds the key
To my future and life to be,
And I know for myself that the Lord
cares for me.

He is my Psalm of Love
From beginning to end,
Yahweh is my creator and Jesus my friend.

So you be you,
and I'll be me,
Just knowing that He lives
is my reality.

And because God is God,
and He will always be,
A part of of goodness,
that overwhelms me.

He is my Psalm of Love.
