The Lord gave us our very breath that We breathe… Like the quiet breeze that blows Through the air. The Lord gave us our very soul and Her “spirit” Like the essence of the earth. The Lord gave us our very voice to Pray to him With honestly and love… Like blue jays that sing in the early Morn. The Lord gave us his protection Everywhere we go From the land, sea and air… Like the rainbow that graces the world As a promise. The Lords gave us very guidance and Takes away our burdens When the day becomes uncontrollable. The Lord gives us comfort when the Tears come From “pain” of grief as we can’t understand our sorrow… Like the bare trees standing still in the cold winter. The Lord gives our very joy from our many things we have And from the needs he provides… Like the stars lying across the sky as diamonds. The Lord gave us his very vow “Through everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear him As his righteousness with all his children”… As we praise the Lord like a water fountain overflowing in our hearts.
